Beef Curry
Winter and curry are synonym for me!! I love these bold flavors and can put you instantly in a good mood! I hope you enjoy it!!
Ingredients
  1. 750g steak cut into blocks
  2. 1/3 cup olive oil
  3. 1 tbs ground coriander
  4. 1 tbs ground cumin
  5. 1 tbs mustard seeds
  6. 2 teaspoons turmeric
  7. 1 tbs fennel seeds you can use grounded as-well
  8. 1 onion chopped
  9. 1 red chilli chopped
  10. thumb size ginger grated
  11. 2 tbs tomato paste
  12. 2 cloves of garlic
  13. 2 cups beef stock
  14. Juice of 2 lemons
  15. Salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Fry the onion, garlic, all the spices until the mustard seeds starts to pop.
  2. Add the meat and fry until brown.
  3. Add the tomato paste, garlic chilli and beef stock and juice of 2 lemons.
  4. Reduce your heat to low simmer, cover the pan and cook the curry for 90 minutes or until the meat is soft.
  5. Cook uncovered for a further 15 minutes, this will allow the sauce to thicken.
  6. Season well.
  7. I serve this on basmati rice and with Greek yogurt and fresh coriander.
