
Beef Curry

Winter and curry are synonym for me!! I love these bold flavors and can put you instantly in a good mood! I hope you enjoy it!!
Ingredients
- 750g steak cut into blocks
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 tbs ground coriander
- 1 tbs ground cumin
- 1 tbs mustard seeds
- 2 teaspoons turmeric
- 1 tbs fennel seeds you can use grounded as-well
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 red chilli chopped
- thumb size ginger grated
- 2 tbs tomato paste
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 cups beef stock
- Juice of 2 lemons
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Fry the onion, garlic, all the spices until the mustard seeds starts to pop.
- Add the meat and fry until brown.
- Add the tomato paste, garlic chilli and beef stock and juice of 2 lemons.
- Reduce your heat to low simmer, cover the pan and cook the curry for 90 minutes or until the meat is soft.
- Cook uncovered for a further 15 minutes, this will allow the sauce to thicken.
- Season well.
- I serve this on basmati rice and with Greek yogurt and fresh coriander.
